Follow the steps below to set-up your profiles or get the sites you want to view, but keep others from viewing or to only get certain types of sites.

Step 1

Step 1: To get the procedure started just click where the red arrow is pointing on the graphic, it says "Click Here."

Step 2

Step 2: Set-up profiles for each user, up to 4 total. The best thing to do is set-up a profile that multiple people can use. For example, one for you and your spouse and one for your children. Do this by clicking on "Create or Edit your master account profiles."

Step 3

Step 3: Enter in your main User Name and the Password assigned to you by GO Concepts.

Step 4

Step 4: You can set-up four profiles. Number one is the Master Profile. You will see what that profile (the tab you are on: 1, 2, 3, or 4) is set to. It is listed under the headings "Content Categories" and "Current Ports" near the top of the tab. This shows you what is currently blocked, open, or being filtered.

Under the "Contact Categories" section choose what you want to do for the particular topic listed. In this section Blocked = Access Denied or Open = Access is Allowed.

Under the the "Select Port #" section choose what you want do for the particular ports, which are listed below. In this section Blocked = Access Denied or Filter = Content is Filtered with access only to what is allowed based on selections in the "Content Categories" section or Open = Access is Allowed.

  • Port 21 = FTP
  • Port 80 = WWW (web sites)
  • Port 119 = Email Port Other = all others

Then clear out the Password box at the bottom and put in Your Own Password (not the one for your MASTER password that we gave you) for this profile. Once you have typed in the Password and Confirm Password, just click Save User.

Once you have your Profiles set-up, follow the steps below to use them.

  1. When you come to the Denied page, click towards the bottom left where it says Click Here.
  2. Enter in your User Name and then the Password of your Profile and select the Profile Number that you wish to access.
  3. If your Profile allows you to view the content on the site, then you are all setup. If you ever need to adjust the Profiles, just start back at the top of this page. You can change your Profiles as often as you like to.
Make sure that you never give out your MASTER Password. Also be sure to close your browser or choose the option in the pop-up window to return to the main profile
    .

Important:

  • Realize that no method is perfect and while this service is rated at 99% effective and is one of the top rated services available today, the Internet is growing so rapidly there is no way to protect from all that is out there.
  • If you find a site that is questionable or you feel should be blocked, simply send an Email to the address listed on the "Denied" page.
  • If you find a site that is being blocked and you feel is should not be, simply send an email to the address listed on the "Denied" page.
  • If you need to get to the denied page, simply attempt to access a page you know to be blocked or type Email/denied.htm in the address window.
  • If you are on a network that is using the service through a server or a proxying device and you change the profile, you are changing it for EVERYONE using that network.
