- Win3.x
& DOS - Use with Cable Internet Access
While we will not formally support DOS nor Win3.x, it
is possible to use Cable Internet on these computers.
For DOS you need to load a network driver for the Ethernet
card and then load your TCP/IP stack on top of the driver,
similar to loading a modem driver with PPP then TCP/IP
for dial-up access. Yet, to achieve the full benefit of
Cable Internet, you will need a Win95 or Win98 computer
meeting the minimum requirements.
